SANDGATE PAVILIONS

Sandgate Pavilions (Sunningdale House Development) is a luxury residential development set high on the hillside above the town of Sandgate, Kent. Comprising of 36, meticulously deigned two and three-bed apartments arranged across three contemporary pavilion buildings, each afforded views across the English Channel.

The steep coastal site provided an engineering challenge and following advanced ground investigation, it became apparent that the initial proposed engineering approach would not be appropriate. In collaboration with the consultant team we were able to provide an alternative scheme that overcame the complex ground conditions whilst maintaining the design ethos of integrating the built form within the landscape.

The second scheme achieved full delegated approval, works commenced on-site and the development is completed.
