The Custom House, Gravesend – Bringing history back to life
As this very special project draws to a close, it is wonderful to see residents beginning to move in and make The Custom House their home.
TJDA have been proud to work alongside Mile Property Group on the transformation of The Custom House in Gravesend, breathing new life into buildings that are rich in history and character.
The video really shows the care that has gone into the scheme, retaining and celebrating the building’s original architectural features, while introducing contemporary design and creating spaces ready for a new chapter.
From the beautiful period detailing and distinctive windows to the carefully considered new elements, it’s a great example of how historic buildings can be sensitively restored and reimagined for the future.
A real pleasure for the TJDA team to have played a part in bringing this landmark building back to life.
