We are delighted to announce the successful approval of planning consent for an exceptional new residential scheme in St Leonards-on-Sea. The project, comprising 37 high-quality homes, was supported 9:1 at planning committee, marking a significant achievement for both TJDA and the developer, Mile Property Group.
Situated on a highly prominent and technically complex clifftop site within a designated conservation area, the development represents a careful balance of architectural innovation, sensitive heritage considerations, and environmental sustainability. The design respects the character of the historic setting while delivering contemporary homes that embrace the spectacular coastal landscape.
The development is set to contribute positively to the local area, providing much needed new housing, on previously developed brown-field site, with a strong focus on sustainability, high-quality materials, and thoughtfully integrated public spaces.
