  • Heritage-led Development

    These early-stage concept designs explore our client Guildcrest Homes’ brief, for the redevelopment of a brownfield site, which called for a heritage-led development with a Georgian inspired aesthetic.   Taking cues from historic local buildings, the intention will be to strike a balance between the site constraints, design brief, the needs of modern living, and the beautiful proportions exhibited by architecture of the period. Materiality will also play a fundamental role in the success of the design, and we are excited to explore this further as the design progresses.

    What a beautiful day for a site visit! It’s been fantastic to see the quality of workmanship that our clients Wedgewood Homes are achieving on this development of 6 beautiful contemporary homes, set deep in Kentish countryside. We can’t wait to see this one completed!

  • Grade 2 Listed building, Custom House, Gravesend

    We are pleased to be working with Mile Property Group on a refurbishment and regeneration project, that will see Gravesend's  Custom House bought to life again, with conservation of existing heritage value, celebrating the history of the site. This private, secure development comprising open communal landscaping, will consist of 27no. units, forming a unique affordable housing scheme, including the conversion of the existing Grade 2 Listed Custom House building, into apartments. We are delighted to say that work has commenced on site, as of October 2024 and we look forward to bringing more exciting updates, soon.

  • Working with Local Developers

    It has been a pleasure to work with established local developer Guildcrest Homes to prepare a public consultation package for this small new-build housing scheme in Thanet. A public exhibition was held at the local village hall, which was a great opportunity to constructively engage with the local community, and the design team has taken onboard the comments and feedback received as they continue to progress the concept design.

    “Verve” is an elegant collection of nine Brand New Luxury apartments a by Wedgewood Homes in Royal Tunbridge Wells’ and TJDA were delighted to be working on this unique project The Development comprises of 8 two-bedroom apartments and 1 three-bedroom penthouse – set across four floors, with full lift access and private outside space to every apartment.

  • Unrivalled Panoramic Views

    We have absolutely loved developing this design concept for a jaw-dropping coastal site for Mile Property Group. Set on the clifftop at St Leonards on Sea, the site has unrivalled panoramic views, and will include a mix of new high-quality town houses and apartments, set sensitively into the sites steeply sloping topography.   • Team Assassin were delighted to finish 1st in class

    What a great week of close racing at the Royal Temple Yacht Club's annual regatta! Team Assassin were delighted to finish 1st in class 1 & 2nd overall for the QE2 Cup, 1st in class 1 for the mid-week cup, tied on points for the overall Class 1 victory, and 2nd place overall for the full week regatta! It was also a pleasure to host so many of our clients, colleagues and friends at our mid-week champagne reception and buffet, and we sincerely hope to see you all again next year! Last but not least, huge thanks to the Royal Temple Yacht Club for organising, running and hosting the event!

    Little Randolph’s Farm is a prestigious development offering 6 bespoke homes, located in one of Kent's most popular villages, Biddenden, and we are delighted to be working with Wedgewood Homes again to deliver another high-quality development.   Having recently completed the stage 4 technical design packages, we are excited to see this development progressing on site, and will be sharing more progress pictures very soon!

  • High Quality Office/Industrial Units

    We were pleased to work alongside TKS Developments across work stages 1-5, to deliver this development of 48 No high-quality office / industrial units on the Thanet Way A299. The scheme comprises of 41 no. units approximately 1900 sq ft and 7 No units approximately 2325 sq ft, including a mezzanine, WC, and kitchenette All units have been competed to an extremely high standard and are selling fast.

  • 24hr Snap Fitness Gym in Whitstable

    We were really pleased to have worked with George Wilson Construction to deliver the shell and core for the new 24hr Snap Fitness Gym in Whitstable.   BHR Construction are completing the inside, and the gym will be open mid-August.   The gym provides 3 floors comprising fitness studios with classes including HiiT, yoga, core, circuits and much more.   There are also dedicated spin studios and a large fully equipped gym area along with luxurious shower facilities.

  • New Global HQ Into Planning!

    TJDA have collaborated closely with our clients, Hilger Crystals, to develop a bespoke design for their brand new state-of-the-art facility at Manston.   • Drawing board, to visualisations, to construction...

    Challenges often spark creativity, and this small project was no exception. Our clients brought this site to us with an extant outline consent for 4 dwellings. It quickly became clear that the original designers had paid little attention to constraints, with the large TPO trees on-site significantly reducing the developable area. We worked closely alongside our clients and arboriculturists to explore a range of development options, resulting in a new design which successfully balanced the tight site constraints and challenging access arrangements, against the clients detailed brief to maximise gross internal areas and unlock the full potential of the site. It has been a pleasure to collaborate with our clients throughout the planning and technical design stages, and we have also been pleased to provide them with a full visualisation package to support their forthcoming sales launch.
