- Exciting Healthcare Development gets Planning Permission
We are pleased to confirm that planning permission has been granted for works at Temple Ewell Nursing Home near Dover. The project includes retaining works to the adjacent highway, a new 2 storey extension containing 7 additional bedrooms and new lounge facilities and extensive refurbishment of the existing home. We look forward to working with Crownwood Healthcare to deliver another healthcare development.

- Fantastic Charity Night
A big thank you to WW Martin for hosting another fantastic Charity Go-Karting Race Night at Buckland Park Karting. Our directors Alex Jackson, Michael Day were joined by Michael Keckes, from Mile Property Group had a great result finishing 4th out of 20 teams. Congratulations to Hawden MEP who were the overall winners. The event raised money for Hypo Hounds a Kent based charity who train specialist Diabetic Alert Dogs to support children living with Type 1 Diabetes. - Planning Granted For Air Space Development
TJDA are delighted to announce the successful approval of planning consent for a complex air space development in Hanwell, London. The scheme involves the construction of additional two storey extension to accommodate 18 no 1 and 2 bedroom apartments. It was great working with Invicta planning again to deliver the consent. - Archcliffe Fort in Dover What a Wonderful Place
We are delighted to confirm that approval has been given for works at Archcliffe Fort in Dover for Emmaus Dover Limited. The works involve the installation of double glazed windows and refurbishment of Gipsons and Karen’s Block within the Grade II Listed former fort in Dover. We worked closely with English Heritage and Historic England during the application process. It was a pleasure working with all the dedicated staff at Emmaus Dover who provide a home and work opportunities and a future for people who have experience homelessness. The site has a shop and café where they sell a wide range of second hand furniture which has been restored and upcycled by the wonderful companions who live on site.
- Hendon Way, London – Project Update
This week we visited Hendon Way in London and are pleased to report steady progress on the renovation of this property. The existing residential dwelling is being converted into five flats, comprising one-bedroom and two-bedroom units, through extensions and alterations.
- St Georges Court, Wrotham
We are delighted to announce that TJDA have been appointed by Jenner Construction Limited to provide the Stage 4 design of 38 units at St Georges Court, Wrotham. The project involves the delivery of 26 houses and 12 apartments for Clarion Housing. The Stage 4 design is to be prepared utilising Revit / BIM for design and delivery and we look forward to working with Aimis Limited to assist with data entry.
- White Post Farm, Ash, Kent
We are so pleased to be working with Guildcrest Homes, it’s great to see the vision taking shape for this development of four exceptional new homes for Guildcrest, at White Post Farm in Ash. The scheme includes a beautifully crafted barn conversion, a charming, detached cottage, and two detached three-bedroom homes, each thoughtfully designed in a traditional style. Guildcrest are making fantastic progress, as usual, and it's a pleasure to watch these homes evolve with such attention to detail. A real testament to what can be achieved when great design meets skilled delivery. More updates to come as we move towards completion!
- Generals Meadow Care Home, which was a former mansion house built by Sir Herbert Baker an English Architect.
It has been a pleasure working with Mr and Mrs Johnson on this wonderful home. The first phase of works at Generals Meadow Care Home has now been completed, this involved the conversion and extension of a lodge building to form a 3 storey managers accommodation. The second phase will commence soon which involves a 3 storey side extension consisting of new kitchen and laundry rooms plus a new staircase and evacuation lift which give access to the third floor, this is being extended and remodelled to provide 5 new en-suite bedrooms and communal lounge areas. https://www.generalsmeadowcarehome.co.uk/ Generals Meadow Care Home, Walmer, Kent.

Our recent site visit shows the progress of the refurbishment and regeneration project to the Grade 2 Listed Custom House building, in Gravesend. Coach House building roof being stripped ready for new timber frame mansard roof extension, clad in natural slate.

Once again It was great to work with Guildcrest and assist them with the planning and technical design of their new café ‘The Coffee Club’ at The Laurels, Manston.

Our thanks to Chris from Embrace AI Training as he introduced us to the world of AI We looked at different AI platforms using predominately ChatGPT, Its quite amazing what it can you do when you give it the right prompt. Some of the TJDA team testing out AI and how it can assist day to day tasks.
